Designed in Intro to Graphic Design 224, we were assigned to redesign a New York Time's Best Seller. When choosing a book cover to redesign, I wanted to challenge myself to take a colorful book cover and approach a simplistic design. The originally book cover contained landscape of Italy, and I chose to redesign the cover to have the main character the focus. The character was drawn first, and I pulled colors from the drawing to add to to the book cover.
