One Italian Summer

I was given the challenge to redesign a New York Time's Best Seller book. When choosing a book cover to redesign, I decide to pick a simplistic approach to a colorful book cover. The originally book cover contained landscape of Italy, and I wanted to capture to mysteries essence of the main character, having the reader wondering who or what she could be looking at? The character was drawn first, and I pulled colors from the original book cover to add.
