About
The Typeface Ambroise was designed by the founder of Typofonderie Jean François Porchez.
To inspire what type of hotel I would design, I chose to look into Jean's background. Jean has worked for high end companies such as Harper's Brazaar Magazine, and Louis Vuitton. Jean was also born in France, and his hometown is split down the middle by a forest.
With the high end companies and a forest hometown, this inspired me to design a French luxury forest retreat.
Translation
The French word Foret translate to forest in English.
As shown, there is a primary and secondary logo, along with a main icon that is used throughout.

In the Branding and Identity Systems 334 course, we were tasked with designing a hotel, with a unique challenge of using a single typeface as the sole inspiration for our branding. The assignment required us to incorporate this chosen typeface exclusively throughout the hotel's design elements.
